Pole down, wires arcing on Knowlesville Road, Alabama

Alabama firefighters are responding to a report of a utility pole down in the roadway, with wires arcing, at 6564 Knowlesville Road. The location is between Lewiston and Ham roads.
UPDATE 12:50 p.m.: The response is cancelled, Alabama is standing down. The dispatcher says "This is a previously reported incident. They are confirmed cable wires. No one wants to claim the pole."

That pole has been down for two weeks or more. It looks like it's a very old pole. There is telephone cable attached to the pole, and cable tv cable - - since the phone company has been here in town a LONG time, and cable only recently got here, it MUST be a Verizon pole. There's nothing arcing - - there's no electricity on the pole. I emailled my nephew that works for Verizon and asked him to report it. Maybe they'll get it fixed eventually - no guarantees.
