Probably somebody in a hurry and passing at the wrong time. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more in that area.

What is with all these end on collisions lately?? Please people, keep your eyes on the road and off your mobile devices.
I agree with yall. I was the victim of a distracted driver in 2007. At the age of 25 I was left with a broken back and I now have 12 inch titanium rods and two fake discs because of what that driver did to me. She had the minimum insurance to be on the road and absolutely no assets for me to go after. I had perfect credit, a new house, a new car, perfect health and in an instant it was gone. I ended up having to file bankruptcy because the state where this happened has no recourse for auto accidents. I'm sentenced to a life with limited mobility and chronic pain and the memories of 11 months in a wheelchair with a broken back. The woman who hit me? A $35 reckless driving ticket.
I hate seeing accidents like this that are completely avoidable. If someone has a medical emergency behind the wheel then they are as much a victim as the other person if they had no way of knowing they were ill. However if someone causes an accident because they can't get off their phone or are distracted for whatever other reason, there should be much stiffer penalties than what the law allows for right now. The victims' lives are forever changed. The person who causes the accident gets to continue on in most cases
