I'm afraid I don't get your point David. Neither Howard or I have much time for playing on the Internet. If you're referring to my posting about someone complaining of children playing in the street, as opposed to, say, holding out for a news flash about an ax murder in Texaco Town, get over it. We do both. Comprende? It's September 2012.

Better than playing on my lawn! [shakes cane furiously]
Jason you need to stop playing with your cane on the Batavian. It gets people like David Andersen all confuzzled.
LOL
I believe it was rule 62 which stated "don't take yourself to damn seriously"
Billie are you flashing Texacoian Axe Murderers again.... Shame on you they are gonna get all riled up now.
any description of the axe murderer in Texaco Town?
I'm reminded of my father complaining while I was growing up. He and my mother both grew up in the City of Rochester. He lamented that despite moving to a rural village with big backyards, playgrounds and parks; kids still found it necessary to play in the street.
Billie, are you sure David wasn't being tongue in cheek--as in "well that's where you're supposed to be"? We always played in the street as kids, so why would someone complain about it (unless they were doing something they weren't supposed to be doing)?
I like news items like this. It's small town and old school.
Where else do you play Kickball when no ones yard is big enough? Besides, manhole covers always served as permanent "home plates".
It may be annoying, but at least kids were playing outside and not sitting in front of a TV or computer!
^Is it ironic that you posted that comment from a computer?
