Car crashes into donut shop on West Main Street in the city

An elderly female has crashed her vehicle into the Dunkin' Donuts shop at 136 W. Main St. in the City of Batavia. She has a head injury. City firefighters and Mercy medics are responding. A code inspector is requested to the scene.

UPDATE 2:45 p.m.: The 89-year-old patient is being transported to UMMC. She is conscious and alert.

wow!!! poor dunkin donuts.....thats twice that a car has crashed into it and a few years back didnt a deer crash through the front window?

My dad ran (and later owned) a chain of donut shops in San Diego for a couple of decades. They all had drive thrus. One tragic event I've never forgotten was in 1972 or so when an elderly driver was pulling into the drive-through, didn't make the turn right, panicked and hit the gas rather than the break and pinned a high school girl against the building, seriously injuring her legs.
